Ingredients
- - 4 ripe pears
- - 2 tablespoons honey
- - 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- - 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- - 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- - 1/4 cup brown sugar
- - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2. Wash the pears and cut them in half lengthwise. Remove the cores and place the pear halves in a baking dish, cut side up.
- 3. In a small bowl, mix together the honey, cinnamon, pecans, melted butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract.
- 4. Spoon the honey mixture evenly over each pear half.
- 5. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the pears are tender.
- 6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the tops are caramelized.
- 7. Serve the baked pears warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream, if desired. Enjoy!
