Ingredients
- -1/4 cup (1/2 stick) of butter
- -1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- -1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- -1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- -1/4 teaspoon salt
- -4 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
- -1/4 cup dark rum
- -1/4 cup banana liqueur
- -1/4 cup heavy cream
Directions
- 1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- 2. Add the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt, and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- 3. Add the banana slices and cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 4. Add the rum and banana liqueur and stir until combined.
- 5. Cook for another 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 6. Add the heavy cream and stir until combined.
- 7. Cook for another 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 8. Serve over ice cream or pound cake. Enjoy!
