Ingredients
- - 4 cod fillets
- - 4 tablespoons butter
- - Salt and pepper to taste
- - 1 lemon, sliced
- - Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2. Place the cod fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 3. Season the cod fillets with salt and pepper.
- 4. Place a slice of lemon on top of each cod fillet.
- 5. Place a tablespoon of butter on top of each cod fillet.
- 6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cod is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- 7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
- 8. Serve the buttered cod hot and enjoy!
