Buttered Cod

Ingredients

  • - 4 cod fillets
  • - 4 tablespoons butter
  • - Salt and pepper to taste
  • - 1 lemon, sliced
  • - Fresh parsley for garnish

Directions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2. Place the cod fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. 3. Season the cod fillets with salt and pepper.
  4. 4. Place a slice of lemon on top of each cod fillet.
  5. 5. Place a tablespoon of butter on top of each cod fillet.
  6. 6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cod is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. 7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
  8. 8. Serve the buttered cod hot and enjoy!
