Ingredients
- - 2 cups all-purpose flour
- - 2 cups granulated sugar
- - 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- - 2 teaspoons baking powder
- - 1 teaspoon baking soda
- - 1 teaspoon salt
- - 1 cup vegetable oil
- - 2 large eggs
- - 1 cup hot water
- - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- 2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- 3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, eggs, hot water, and vanilla extract.
- 4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- 5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- 6. Let cool completely before serving. Enjoy!
