Ingredients
- - 1 cup all-purpose flour
- - 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- - 1 cup granulated sugar
- - 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- - 1/2 teaspoon salt
- - 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- - 2 flax eggs (2 tablespoons ground flaxseed + 6 tablespoons water)
- - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- 2. In a small bowl, prepare the flax eggs by mixing together ground flaxseed and water. Let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
- 3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- 4. Add the vegetable oil, flax eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
- 5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly.
- 6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- 7. Remove from the oven and let the brownies cool completely before cutting into squares.
