Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

  • - 6 large eggs
  • - 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • - 1 teaspoon mustard
  • - 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
  • - 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • - Paprika or chopped fresh herbs for garnish

Directions

  1. 1. Place eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and cover with water.
  2. 2. Bring water to a boil, then remove from heat, cover, and let sit for 12 minutes.
  3. 3. Transfer eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool.
  4. 4. Once cooled, peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks.
  5. 5. Mash the yolks in a bowl and add mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  6. 6. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  7. 7. Sprinkle with paprika or chopped herbs for garnish.
  8. 8. Serve and enjoy your deviled eggs!
