Ingredients
- - 1 cup all-purpose flour
- - 2 tablespoons sugar
- - 1 teaspoon baking powder
- - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- - 1/4 teaspoon salt
- - 1 cup milk
- - 1 large egg
- - 2 tablespoons melted butter
- - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- 2. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- 3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. It's okay if the batter is a little lumpy.
- 4. Heat a lightly greased skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- 5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
- 6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
- 7. Serve warm with your favorite toppings like maple syrup, fruit, or whipped cream. Enjoy!
