Pancakes

Ingredients

  • - 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • - 2 tablespoons sugar
  • - 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • - 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • - 1 cup milk
  • - 1 large egg
  • - 2 tablespoons melted butter

Directions

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. 2. In a separate bowl, beat the egg and then stir in the milk and melted butter.
  3. 3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. It's okay if the batter is a little lumpy.
  4. 4. Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat.
  5. 5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the pan for each pancake.
  6. 6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake, then flip and cook for another minute until golden brown.
  7. 7. Serve the pancakes warm with your favorite toppings such as maple syrup, fresh fruits, or whipped cream. Enjoy!
