Parmesan-crusted Chicken

Ingredients

  • - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • - 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • - 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • - Salt and pepper to taste
  • - 2 eggs, beaten
  • - Olive oil for cooking

Directions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2. In a shallow dish, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3. Dip each chicken breast in the beaten eggs, then coat with the Parmesan mixture, patting it on to adhere.
  4. 4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  5. 5. Cook the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. 6. Transfer the chicken breasts to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and the cheese is melted and golden.
  7. 7. Serve the Parmesan-crusted chicken hot with your favorite side dishes. Enjoy!
