Ingredients
- - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- - 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- - 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- - Salt and pepper to taste
- - 2 eggs, beaten
- - Olive oil for cooking
Directions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2. In a shallow dish, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- 3. Dip each chicken breast in the beaten eggs, then coat with the Parmesan mixture, patting it on to adhere.
- 4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
- 5. Cook the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- 6. Transfer the chicken breasts to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and the cheese is melted and golden.
- 7. Serve the Parmesan-crusted chicken hot with your favorite side dishes. Enjoy!
