Ingredients

  • -1 package round wonton wrappers (about 50)
  • -1 pound ground pork
  • -1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • -1/4 cup finely chopped scallions
  • -1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • -2 cloves garlic, minced
  • -2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • -1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • -1 teaspoon sugar
  • -Vegetable oil, for frying

Directions

  1. 1. In a large bowl, combine the pork, cabbage, scallions, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sugar. Mix until everything is evenly combined.
  2. 2. Place a wonton wrapper in the palm of your hand. Place a heaping teaspoon of the pork mixture in the center of the wrapper.
  3. 3. Dip your finger in a small bowl of water and wet the edge of the wrapper. Fold the wrapper in half and press the edges together to seal.
  4. 4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add enough vegetable oil to coat the bottom of the skillet.
  5. 5. Place the potstickers in the hot oil and cook for about 2 minutes, until the bottoms are golden brown.
  6. 6. Carefully add 1/4 cup of water to the skillet and cover with a lid. Reduce the heat to low and steam the potstickers for 8-10 minutes, until the pork is fully cooked.
  7. 7. Serve the potstickers with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
