Ingredients
- -1 package round wonton wrappers (about 50)
- -1 pound ground pork
- -1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage
- -1/4 cup finely chopped scallions
- -1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
- -2 cloves garlic, minced
- -2 tablespoons soy sauce
- -1 tablespoon sesame oil
- -1 teaspoon sugar
- -Vegetable oil, for frying
Directions
- 1. In a large bowl, combine the pork, cabbage, scallions, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sugar. Mix until everything is evenly combined.
- 2. Place a wonton wrapper in the palm of your hand. Place a heaping teaspoon of the pork mixture in the center of the wrapper.
- 3. Dip your finger in a small bowl of water and wet the edge of the wrapper. Fold the wrapper in half and press the edges together to seal.
- 4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add enough vegetable oil to coat the bottom of the skillet.
- 5. Place the potstickers in the hot oil and cook for about 2 minutes, until the bottoms are golden brown.
- 6. Carefully add 1/4 cup of water to the skillet and cover with a lid. Reduce the heat to low and steam the potstickers for 8-10 minutes, until the pork is fully cooked.
- 7. Serve the potstickers with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
