Seared Salmon

Ingredients
- - 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
- - 2 tablespoons olive oil
- - Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- - 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- - 2 tablespoons butter
- - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Directions
- 1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
- 2. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- 3. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
- 4. Place salmon fillets in the skillet and cook for about 3 minutes per side, or until lightly browned.
- 5. Transfer skillet to preheated oven and bake for 6-8 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through.
- 6. Remove skillet from oven and place salmon on a plate.
- 7. In the same skillet, add lemon juice and butter and stir until butter is melted.
- 8. Pour butter sauce over salmon and sprinkle with parsley.
- 9. Serve immediately.
